He undertook an intensive training at Maritime Academy - Denhelder Nether lands and UWCC - Wales UK. He has gained vast valuable experience in Liner Tramp Shipping Agency Trade, Port Organizations, Human resource and Shipping Project Management.
His employment experience with Tanzania National Shipping Agencies Company Ltd during late 70?s and 90?s earned him a worldwide International exposure in the Maritime industry and related services. He worked as Shipping Manager for the regular Shipping Lines calling East African Ports such as Beacon Shipping lines Consortium P&O, DOAL CMBL, CGM, SVEDEL, WEC, ZIM, LNL, NEDLLOYD.
In the early 1998 he was appointed General Manager for worldwide Shipping Agency. During his tenure as General Manager he initiated foreign Shipping lines S.A. Safmarine, Unicorn, Maersk, NYK, Mozaline and tramps to call Tanzania ports. He initiated shipping, port related projects such as destination Terminal Bagging operations for dry bulk cargoes. He promoted combined transport B/L Carriage applications for Transit cargo trade. He promoted establishment of dry ports to link land locked countries He promoted feeder services short sea trade for coastal sea ports such as Mombasa, Tanga, Zanzibar, Mafia, Mtwara, Pemba, Beira, Maputo, Richands Bay Durban, Port Elizabeth, Cape Town.
Collaboration with Shipping companies and field research undertaken in major World ports earned him good knowledge on various ports and International Institutions such as Bimco, IMO, Inter tanko, Lloyd Insurance, ICC, IMB, Baltic Exchanger etc. Lead line formulation of key performance indicators levels earned him high ranking on his management skills when liaison with other International Organizations, Government institutions, maritime key issue albeit Maritime Security.
However researches and studies undertaken such as problems facing land locked countries in the Maritime trade, short sea Shipping East Africa with particular reference to Coastal maritime states drew his attention to establishing Maritime Alliance in tandem partnership with Mr. ndomba which has out reached and yield extended Services in ship and Port Agency, port and off port ship security management facilitation, offshore based operations, ship support service, terminal operations superintendence and project cargo management.
